CHILDRENS FUN DAY:
Childrens Fun Day takes place every 2nd Sunday in the month 10.00am-4.00pm. The content of the day varies but can include gymkhanas, handy pony, jumping, dressage, grooming, quizzes or treasure hunt. This course is intended for children but adults who wish to help are welcome. Bring a packed lunch and suitable clothing. Booking is essential for this course together with a £5 deposit. The total cost is £15 for the day.
LOAN A PONY:
Let your children experience looking after their own pony which includes grooming, cleaning out, tacking-up, tack cleaning, feeding, watering, bringing in and taking out to the field and of course riding. All loans are supervised by the stables. Ponies are not allowed off the yard without adult supervision. Lessons and hacks are an extra, charged at the applicable rate. Ponies may be required to work in the Riding Centre although we do try our best to avoid such situations.

How to find us:
From Blackpool:- take the A588 to Hambleton. This road passes over Shard Bridge. At the roundabout turn left. You will pass through Hambleton. Once through Hambleton, on the left there is a sign "Stalmine with Staynall." Further on, on the right is a bus shelter and Daedalian Glass. (Some people might remember Tarzans.) The next lane on the right is Neds Lane. On the corner of Neds Lane is Beech Dene Craft Centre. Go down Neds Lane, over a bridge and past a farm. You will then reach the entrance to a static home park.
From Lancaster:- take the A588 to Stalmine. This road passes The Seven Stars. Take the second turning on the left after the Seven Stars. Go past the Organic Tea Rooms and then take the first right turn, which is Neds Lane. You will then reach the entrance to a static home park.
Opposite the entrance to the park is a lane, which has an 'except for access' sign. Go down this lane past a blue building and 3 white houses. You will then reach a red bricked house, which is Renards Riding Centre. We look forward to meeting you.

Some questions and answers:-
Q. I have never ridden before; will there be a horse or pony suitable for me?
A. We have horses and ponies, which are suitable for children from 3 years old up to adults. We can usually cater for most clients.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Wear loose fitting trousers (e.g. jogging trousers), an anorak or fleece (appropriate to weather conditions), gloves (if desired) and well fitting shoes with a small heel. The stables can provide riding hats at no extra cost.
Q. Do you have a cafe?
A. No, but there is a cafe near by. So, if parents want to have some time to themselves, whilst their children are having fun, then the cafe may provide a welcome break.
